Key Responsibilities
- Drive event sales and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and securing event bookings.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate clients, event planners, agencies, and key stakeholders.
- Manage event enquiries, reservations, proposals, quotations, contracts, billing, and client communications.
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings through effective sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Plan and coordinate events from initial enquiry through execution and post-event follow-up.
- Prepare event proposals, budgets, timelines, and costings to ensure successful delivery and profitability.
- Collaborate closely with operations, culinary, marketing, and support teams to deliver seamless event experiences.
- Coordinate vendors, suppliers, and event logistics to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee on-site event operations and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards.
- Monitor event budgets, pricing, profitability, and overall financial performance.
- Conduct post-event reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and event outcomes, providing regular updates to management.
- Stay informed of industry trends and market opportunities to grow the events business.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event sales, event management, or business development within the hospitality/F&B industry.
- Proven track record in generating leads, converting enquiries, and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent client relationship management, networking, and business development skills.
- Commercially driven with experience managing budgets, pricing, and profitability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with HubSpot, Tripleseat, or similar CRM/event management platforms is advantageous
- Established network of corporate clients, event planners, agencies, or industry contacts will be highly advantageous.
