Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales, profitability, and growth across assigned product categories.
- Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze sales and market trends to identify opportunities and optimize category performance.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with brands, suppliers, and business partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and secure promotional support to maximize sales and margins.
- Source and introduce new brands and products to enhance the store's offerings.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Visual Merchandising teams on campaigns, launches, and in-store initiatives.
- Monitor stock levels and inventory turnover to ensure optimal product availability.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to support business planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of merchandising, buying, category management, or retail planning experience.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Excellent commercial, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing supplier and brand relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and retail merchandising systems.
- Experience in department stores, retail, FMCG, or consumer goods industries is advantageous
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
