This position is responsible for providing accurate accounting information to internal and external stakeholders based on accounting in accordance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS) within the predetermined schedule to contribute to accurate decision-making and transparent corporate operations. The candidate is also responsible for carrying out cost closing, individual settlement, and consolidated settlement, responding to accounting audit, managing fixed asset and investment budget and processing bills.

Responsibilities:
Individual / Consolidated Settlement

• Carry out individual corporate settlement using the organization's COA in accordance with accounting rules in Singapore
• Develop and verify financial statements
• Organize data for consolidation in a designated form and provide HQ with the data within the given timeframe

Accounting Audit Support

• Support periodic statutory audits required by Singapore law
• Provide schedules and information requested by auditors in a timely manner

AR/AP

• Maintain AR and AP listings and transactions, Inter-companies transactions
• Perform AR/AP reconciliation if necessary and check/verify documents before making any payment
• Responsible for billings and keeping track of payment
• AR Aging and debt status and support tax (GST/WHT/CIT/PIT) filing requirement

Asset Management

• Manage & maintain asset listing and schedules
• Carry out acquisition / disposition / divestiture / transfer / depreciation of tangible and intangible assets, assets due diligence
• Purchase insurance if necessary

Investment Budget Management

• Monitor the investment cost against approved investment budget
• Manage investment budgeting process and support execution of investment
• Provide support when an additional investment is required and reviewed for approval

Employee Cost Management

• Provide data needed to process payroll

Bill Processing

• Process bill for cost closing and consolidated settlement

Treasury functions (optional)

• Those with the right interest and aptitude may be able to assist with treasury functions such as cashflow planning & management, bank loan management, FX & interest rate risk management, & budget control

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration / taxation / accounting or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting (full set, consolidation, asset management, etc.), preferably with experience in manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of IFRS, accounting rules and tax law in Singapore
• Certification in finance / accounting (CPA, CA, ACCA) preferred
• Proficient in ERP SAP, Microsoft Office
