Job Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the Application Maintenance / Support Team
  • Perform incident analysis and closure of incidents raised to the application support team
  • Provide support to users and handle queries raised by users
  • Troubleshoot and find root cause of the reported incidents
  • Provide resolution / workaround for the reported incidents
  • Liaising with other teams within the project or external systems in resolving reported incidents when necessary
  • Ensure all incidents raised are resolved within SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Ensure assigned deliverables are completed on time and with the required level of quality
  • Perform testing for changes done to the system (if any)

    Job Requirements:
    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Understand Java, experience in development of multi-tier applications using Java, IBM WebSphere
  • Familiar with SQL queries & databases
  • Familiar with web services / API technology like REST, SOAP 1.2, WSDL 2.0 and XML 1.0
  • Good experience in an IT Application Support/Maintenance

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
  • Diploma or Degree in IT related course (or equivalent)
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT, Java, or application support
  • Robust in analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Proactive, work hands-on and always try to challenge the status quo
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Picks up new technology quickly
