Job Scope:

• Collaborative and an expert at building networks and connections, with excellent interpersonal skills proactive and willing to propose innovative solutions
• Able to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts inquisitive
• Able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
• Development or support experience in IBM i / iSeries / AS/400 RPG or JAVA
• Experience in API definition/JMS/SOAP/MQ support or development

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Knowledge in MIDAS is a must
• Minimum 5 years' experience in software engineering or software architecture within a financial institution across various business domains
• Knowledge in AS400 QRY or SQL scripting
• Experience with agile methodologies (scrum), and a solid understanding of SDLC
• Knowledge in either Wealth Management front office and/or Core Banking settlement processes
• Knowledge in Securities functionality (Settlement, Asset transfer) is a plus
• Experience in Unix environments and Web (Apache Tomcat, WebSphere) is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, high level on quality standards
• Good documentation skills; skilled in creating diagrams to lay down ideas and workflows
• Highly organized with excellent focus on detail
• A self-starter and can deliver assignments on time
• A quick learner with a 'can do' mentality and pragmatic approach
