Responsibilities:

  • Performs diverse team assistant / administrator functions, delegated administrative assignments and tasks, supports on branch governance matters, events and functions coordination and support on travel management activities for the business originating teams.
  • Understands client requirements and recognizes client needs and priorities (internal and external).
  • Liaises with external clients, executive assistants and other internal employees to organize agendas, reports, presentation material and supports on schedules attendance at meetings / conferences
  • Coordinates and prepares information for use in meetings, conferences support on preparing reports from clients
  • Demonstrates teamwork, collaboration and intercultural competency in own and cross-functional team.
  • Cultivates key relationships, involves and informs others inside and outside of team
  • Organizes events and preparing meeting materials as required, working closely with other Functions
  • Assists the handling of e-mails and calendar administration and coordination as required
  • Supports S&O and progress tracking for various business initiatives and regulatory requirements
  • Process manager for governance meetings, including Branch Management Committee
  • Supports on administration tasks on Outsourcing and Business Continuity Management governance
  • Initiates process improvements to promote efficiencies on how to manage the daily administration requirements


Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance or equivalent course.
  • At least 2 or more years of experience in handling Branch governance matters.
  • Ability to research and translate complex concepts and information into business relevant insights and subsequently into appropriate communication channels.
  • Has experience in influencing and communication skills working across a broad range of stakeholders (including senior managers) to obtain information, implement initiatives and drive successful completion of tasks and actions.
  • Critical thinking skills, specifically a willingness to challenge the status quo and develop alternatives.
  • Skill set in using the Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Project & Word) and developing reporting for senior audiences.
  • Understanding of the re/insurance industry, including functional process/activities and legal/regulatory requirements is good to have.
