Key responsibilities
- Cultivating and deepening relationships with official sector institutions
- Attending and leading external meetings with official sector institutions and institutional investors
- Managing relationships with third parties, public sector forums, advisors and vendors
- Supporting the organisation of events, including training workshops and conferences
- Monitoring and helping to frame a response to global policy developments that affect the gold market, including, but not limited to, developments in the international monetary system and global financial regulation
- Ensuring that the team's CRM is up to date
- Providing wider project management and research support to the CB&PP team
Requirements
- At least 5 - 10 years post university work experience, including 2-3 years in a position focused on engagement with the official sector
- Knowledge of and interest in financial markets
- Knowledge of the central banking, monetary policy and gold as a reserve asset
- Competent with Bloomberg
- Competent with statistics and financial modelling
- Understanding of financial regulation
- Understanding of East Asian politics and policymaking
