​Key Responsibilities:

▪ Review and process applications for approval of fire safety products (example, fire rated door; fire
resistant system and building material) to ensure compliance to safety, performance standards
and regulatory requirements
▪ Make informed decisions on granting the relevant certifications based on the evaluation of:
✓ product test reports;
✓ manufacturer’s quality assurance process flow & system;
✓ factory and site inspection reports
▪ Liaise with regulators on clarification of legislation requirements and certification standards
▪ As a fire safety technical resource in providing technical judgment and certification decision in
area of fire safety protection and requirements

Key Requirements:

▪ Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Fire Safety Engineering or any relevant fields with at least 2
years of relevant experience in construction or manufacturing environment or in testing of building
construction products
▪ Possess relevant knowledge of technical standards for construction products such as fire safety
materials; fire rated door etc
▪ Knowledge of quality system and experience in applying ISO IEC 17025/ISO17065 will be an
added advantage
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
▪ Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
▪ Meticulous, efficient, enthusiastic and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
▪ Highly service-oriented with good people engagement skills
