Job Description:
Manage the logistics and operations of research programs, ensuring the smooth coordination and completion of projects and related deliverables within stipulated timelines and budget. Coordinate and be responsible for research and grant administration activities, monitor the progress of research studies and research-related activities, and organize events related to the research program.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Management:
    • Manage the planning and execution of assigned research programs and projects, including timelines, project plans, and initiatives, tracking performance, managing associated initiatives, and publicity efforts.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met within timelines.
    • Work closely with stakeholders on the logistical planning and execution of projects.
    • Coordinate the planning and execution of associated initiatives and publicity plans, either separately or in conjunction with major events.
    • Manage approved funding and expenditures, correspond with funders, handle purchases, and track budget utilization.
    • Monitor project progress and coordinate regular reviews with the project team and relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist in obtaining regulatory and IRB approvals for research projects under the research programs.
    • Assist in preparing relevant reports, presentations, and materials.

  2. Research Administration:
    • Assist in grant management and administration, including collation and tracking of grant submissions, budget planning, utilization tracking, and claims submissions.
    • Monitor the progress of research activities and outcomes
    • Prepare relevant reports.
    • Assist in supervising staff involved in data collection and data entry/transcription.
    • Assist in budget planning and utilization tracking.
    • Assist in planning and developing initiatives and events arising from or related to research programs.
    • Build relationships and collaborate with other divisions/departments and external partners to ensure smooth running of clinical research, including logistical coordination between study teams and clinics.

  3. Other Duties:
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the Senior Manager/Director of the Clinical Research Unit.


Job Requirements:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in a life science-related discipline.
  • Preferably of 5 years of experience in supervisory, operations, and administrative work in a healthcare organization.
  • Experience in clinical research and research regulatory affairs.
  • Knowledgeable in Good Clinical Practice, research ethics, clinical trials, and regulatory affairs.
