Contract Data Center Operations Specialist | Pharmaceutical
- Work with Facilities to manage critical DC infrastructure (Power and Cooling) availability SLA
- Manage and maintain Data Center environment to always be compliant under the defined standards & requirements
- Manage and maintain Data Center physical security and processes to meet audit requirements
- Manage various vendor contracts for hardware break fix
- Point of contact for any data center related requests and issues
- Shared responsibility for operations and support for client's global IT infrastructure and data center environments. Provide level 1 and level 2 support as required
- Monitor all services and ensures any incidents are responded to and resolved to ensure service/system stability. Escalate issues to appropriate resolver group using standard incident management processes and tools
- Use the incident management system to log and follow-up on all service disruptions. Coordinate with Help Desk colleagues to communicate service disruptions to the business
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior/new employees as needed
- Manage/lead special projects to design, deploy and/or migrate technologies into the data center environment. Partners with IT colleagues to ensure the correct standard platforms and procedures are implemented
- Coordinate high priority incidents with other teams or users to ensure correct and prompt resolution
- Coordinate status reports for incidents and special projects to data center management and senior management as needed
- Sound knowledgeable in all type of Networking Technology and working experience with all Series of Cisco Nexus product line
- Expert in troubleshooting all type of Physical Layer Connectivity
- Champion in ITSM & Change Control
- Prior Experience in SunBird DCIM will be ideal
- HLCM & Capacity planning
Requirement:
- Min Degree with excellent background in IT, with 5 years of technical support in a data center/command center environment is required with at least 3 years of hands on experience.
- Able to work on flexible schedule to provide 7x24 support. This may require working multiple shifts and/or weekends/holidays. Provides flexibility and coverage on alternate days when scheduled or needed
- Excellent knowledge of all data center technologies with a specialization in (Windows, Unix, Linux, or Networking) is necessary.
- Data Centre related technical certifications are highly desirable
- Incumbent must Enterprise Experience
Other information:
12months, renewable Contract

Salary: S$6500per month
