Our client is a US MNC, a pioneering leader in providing strategic solutions for consumer goods, manufacturing, and aerospace. Due to expansion, they are looking to hire contract Planner for their team.

Production Planner (6months, conversion to Permanent)

Responsibilities:
Develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met
MPS planning in SAP and work out reschedule in and out on timely manner
Review material shortages, equipment, and labor required for production
Work with buyers to ensure material is coming in on timely manner to meet the demand.
Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production
Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
Making changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
Review the cell performance on weekly basis and ensure the KPI's like OTTR/ Past due are met
Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules
Liaising with the internal customers on demand requirement from time to time

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a production planner
Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP/SAP)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated abilities as a change agent (Ability to lead process improvement teams)
Ability to work independently

Work location: Jurong, Joo Koon Area (Company transport provided)
Duration: 6months, subject to conversion to Permanent
Salary: S$5000per month
Avail: Immediate or able to start work at short notice
