Corporate Communications Lead, Maternity Cover, 6 months
Summary
Reporting to the HQ Chief Communications Officer, the Corporate Communications Lead is responsible for all internal and external communications programs Singapore, with an oversight of communications activities in Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will partner with the site GM, chief of staff, leadership teams, HR, Legal and other key stakeholders to drive high-impact communications campaigns in support of corporate and site objectives.
- Partner closely with the fab executive leadership teams to develop messages and communications strategies that support site objectives and the overall corporate brand
- Develop proactive communications recommendations and plans to increase employee awareness & engagement and promote productivity
- Ensure messages are consistent and fully aligned with corporate messages
- Support SGP site GM executive communications needs, including employee events, messages, and presentations
- Support site GM all-hands meetings and town halls (content, logistics)
- Partner with HR on key employee communications, change management and employee branding initiatives
- Manage editorial content and work with Corp Comms Executive for site employee communications vehicles such as intranet
- Oversee and work with Corp Comms Executive to manage site social media initiatives
- Manage Singapore branding in partnership with local cross-functional teams
- Develop a wide range of communications content, such as keynote presentations, press releases, blog posts, talking points, Q&As, and media statements, as appropriate
- Advice corporate spokesperson on talking points and best practices for media interactions
- Provide media relations support and take on role of site comms lead for crisis communications
- Strive for positive, strategic media coverage for company across a variety of regional media outlets
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with regional media and industry influencers
- Collaborate with Global Comms team to provide support for global events and campaigns
- Support SGP community involvement and GlobalGives program in Singapore, as well as other employee engagement activities and programs
- Oversee internal and external publicity of Malaysia activities and partner with extended team in Malaysia to publicize activities as needed
- Support China for any internal and external publicity efforts as needed
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS in communications, business or engineering or related field
- 6+ years related experience
- No travel requirements
- Good communication skills, particularly writing and editing
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas to diverse audiences
- Organized and/or program management skills
- Highly collaborative and able to quickly adapt to change
- Good understanding of Microsoft applications
- Understanding of corporate communications and Pubic Relations
