To support excellence in whitespace management by implementing industry best practices and ensuring statutory and contractual compliance. Responsible for oversight of all whitespace systems and technologies, coordinating with the Engineering Team during business-critical failures. Ensure strict adherence to client policies and procedures. Acts as the escalation point for technical failures and supports safe, thorough resolution and improvement reporting. Reports to the Service Delivery Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide troubleshooting, configuration, database support, and repair for server, network, infrastructure, email, file shares, and other IT systems.
  • Act as an escalation point beyond L1 and L2 support, providing advanced technical expertise.
  • Diagnose complex issues through code and design analysis.
  • Perform remote hands support, including power cycling, physical inspections, hardware swaps, component testing, and cabling checks.
  • Escalate issues requiring product changes and share resolutions with lower-tier support.
  • Oversee 24x7 Proximity Services operations for assigned data centers, including physical access, remote hands support, hardware inventory, installation, cabling, and site operations.
  • Coordinate IT infrastructure delivery (hardware, cabling) in line with strategy, standards, and industry specifications (e.g., ISO9001, ISO27001).
  • Lead execution of Power Maintenance Events in collaboration with the Critical Environment team.
  • Support budget tracking, re-forecasting, and reporting of capital and expense spending.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and collaborate with internal sourcing for contract management.
  • Improve service levels through training and oversight of operational practices.
  • Manage whitespace planning: build tools, space planning, power and cabling requirements.
  • Participate in provisioning forums and review whitespace planning standards to improve delivery quality and consistency.
  • Drive customer-focused behavior and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Support data center optimization and closure projects as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Center operations or management.
  • Good technical knowledge of Microsoft server products, networking, and server/PC hardware.
  • In-depth understanding of Data Center power infrastructure and schemes.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
