Responsibilities:

• Ensuring drivers are reporting for work
• Inspect vehicle, ensure vehicle are maintained
• Brief drivers on today tasking, updates, previous days mistakes
• Ensure close communication with drivers to help resolve any problems that arise
• Liaise with suppliers for any emergency ordering
• Monitor drivers deliveries, ensuring all critical points are attended to, liaising with customers to help ensure smoother delivery (alerting customers of delay, booking of loading bay, speak to customers on method of delivery if drivers are met with issues)
• Prepare for replacement drivers if drivers are not available
• Cover driver in the event where no replacement drivers are available
• Prepare checklist and SOP to ensure smooth and consistent operations
• Evaluate drivers performance on a daily basis
• Report to Ops Director on weekly operation performance, teething issues to resolve
• Take care of the welfare of the operations team

Requirements:

• A valid Singapore driving licence
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Delivery Driver
• Able to commit overtime when required
