An exciting opportunity awaits for a regional Demand Planner to join our client, who is a market leader in the FMCG industry.
The Demand Planner will be responsible for the management and development of the demand planning/forecasting functions, providing the interface between Brands' Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain ensuring the demand planning process meets the business objectives and needs.

The primary responsibility is to assist in the development and facilitation of an integrated Sales & Operations Planning process, across the business, ensuring data analysis, systems and measures are in place for both quality of demand plans and alignment with Finance plans. You will own the Sales, Inventory & Operations planning process (SIOP).

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to work autonomously; you will develop, recommend and implement new initiatives in regards to systems, procedures and processes.

You will be a solid team player as this role will see you interact closely with your immediate team as well as collaborating with brands on marketing calendar plans, adjust short term horizons based on local market intelligence.

This role will require you to be a strong negotiator and problem solver, having a keen eye for detail and precision in formulating demand plans for saleable and promotional products, reconciling demand plans, reviewing of trends and executing of business reports.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain /Logistics
  • APICS certification (bonus)
  • Strong MS Excel skills, with the ability to deal with complex data
