Job responsibilities:
Support
- Picking up and logging calls (via phone, email, ticketing system and face to face)
- Setting up and configuration of new PC's and Laptops
- 1st line troubleshooting
- After a short while of training joining the On Call rota
Customer Service
- Updating tickets, asset records and other service desk database records
- Take part in the On-boarding/Off-boarding process
- Completion of Desk Moves
- Basic User administration - AD, Office 365, Telephony, Mimecast
- Basic Bespoke Application support
- Manage escalation of issues to 2nd line team or 3rd parties
- Kick off incident management process
- Imaging workstations
- Acting as a resource on mini projects
Job requirements:
- Higher Diploma/Degree or Relevant Industry Experience and qualifications
- At least 2 years of working experience in a 1st line service desk environment
- Good understanding of PC operating systems, hardware, networking protocols, troubleshooting and IT standards
- Dependable and excellent team player
- Customer Service oriented
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of:
- Win 7 / Win 10
- Microsoft Office 365
- Service Desk ticketing systems (Vivantio is our current ITSM Tool)
- Laptop and Desktop hardware
- Citrix - Basic Knowledge
- Azure - Active Directory
- Application support
- Comptia A+/N+/S+ Desirable
- ITIL v3/4 Fundamentals
Other information:
- 1 year contract - renewable / convertible to perm
- 1 month completion bonus
- Willing to travel overseas for business if needed
- Working days and hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm
- Work location: Robinson Road
