Review and plan electrical power requirements and innovative systems for new and existing business parks, industrial estates and buildings; as well as liaise and coordinate with EMA, PowerGrid and other system providers for the construction of substations and installation of smart systems in the estates.
Perform design reviews submitted by consultants and contractors with the Facilities Management team during the design and construction stage.
Work with building consultants on innovative solutions, emerging technologies, area of environmental sustainability for new buildings and retrofitting of existing buildings and facilities.
Liaise with external parties, including government agencies for matters relating to the assigned industrial development to ensure compliance to authority's requirements.
Manage projects on refurbishment or replacement of M&E systems.
Improve planning of M&E systems to ensure ease of future maintenance, ease of ground operations in the facilities and energy efficiency.
Conduct review of testing process, procedures and performance measurements of electrical and other building systems.
Contribute to drafting the technical specifications for calling of tenders for new and retrofitting projects.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience within a built environment.
- Familiarity with M&E systems, local codes and FM operational practice will be highly advantageous.
- LEW certification will be highly advantageous.
