Responsible for supporting the Company's annual flagship event in Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China, this event is the premier destination for the best and brightest minds in IT to learn, experience the future of technology, build community, and celebrate one another. The event is delivered in-person in Australia and online via a live broadcast.

The successful candidate must have significant event management technology experience in large scale conference, preferably 5+ years, in an enterprise organisation along with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Candidate must be well experienced in the following areas:

  • Good project management capabilities. Must have the ability to juggle multiple, concurrent demanding initiatives and adhere to strict timelines
  • The ability to work independently and also collaboratively in a hybrid work environment across multiple time zones (Management and stakeholders are of a global nature)
  • Execute on event goals and objectives that are aligned with relevant business priorities and align by delivering measurable results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of stakeholders including senior executives
  • Developing and managing good relationships with cross functional communities such as marketing, partner, sales, engineering, product, corporate communications, finance and legal to ensure event objectives are met
  • Desire to work in a regional, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Management of agency/supplier relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • IT/Technology background would be desirable



Event areas could include but not limited to:
Sessions, exhibition, sponsorship, registration, technology systems, marketing, measurement and reporting, stakeholder engagement, ancillary events, logistics and operations, finance and budget management, timeline management ..etc.

Specific Role Priorities:

  • Event Technology
    • Supporting the Event technology team on all platform requirements including registration, mobile app, meeting scheduling, lead scanners and tracking, badging, reporting, survey, exhibitor management system etc.
    • Responsible for weekly reporting on registration
    • Must have working knowledge of registration platform for large-scale event technology requirements
    • The platforms include but are not limited to, Rainfocus, Cvent and JiffleNow. While you will interface into many groups, including the client's sales team, you will continuously work back with the larger marketing organisation to ensure overall alignment to the theatres marketing plan.
  • Sponsorship
    • Manage the review and approval of the target sponsor database to ensure companies are client's Partners in good standing.
  • Administrative Support
  • Support Event Marketing Managers in task related activities focused but not limited to website, content, brand, messaging and comms reviews.
  • Support in event project milestone and timelines
  • Support Senior Executive schedules, diaries, calendars and rehearsals
  • Lead the Meeting Centre Management technology program for ad-hoc meetings, meet the executive and meet the expert.
