Job responsibilities:
- Manage hotel venue sourcing/RFP, negotiation and contracting.
- Co-ordinate with team member on website development & attendee registration.
- Manage budget/billing/cost savings, program logistics, vendors and provide value-added client counselling.
- Track & manage hotel room block pick-up & attrition.
- Manage event within client's SOP, policy parameters & SLA metrics.
- Enter & update meeting information in systems.
- Build & maintain relationships with event owners.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an enterprise organisation managing significant events in large scale conference.
- Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple, concurrent demanding initiatives and adhere to strict timelines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment across multiple time zones.
- Experience in agency/supplier relationships management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of stakeholders including senior executives.
- Working knowledge of Rainfocus registration platform or similar platform for large-scale event technology.
- IT/Technology background would be desirable.
