- Review and interpret text answers from door-to-door, online or telephone surveys
- Clean text responses for spelling and grammar
- Develop code frames by grouping similar responses into common categories
- Perform coding by assigning numeric code values to answers based on the code frame
- Interpret and perform coding of demographic and occupational data
- Check coded data for consistency and logic
- Prepare coded data files according to specifications
- Maintain project and data documentation, change logs, code frames and coding dictionaries
- Contribute to team effort by assisting with other project tasks and special projects when required
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with market / social research operations preferred
- Familiarity with SPSS or similar data analysis software is an added advantage
