Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and train a team of technicians and operators
• Develop and scale up fermentation and mixing processes from 100L onwards
• Set up and perform quality control using techniques related to molecular biology and microbiology
• Translate R&D laboratory processes to commercial operations and coordinate technology transfer
• Come out with Standard Operating Procedures and document it
• Perform Root Cause Analysis on product/process failures
• Set up additional production sites when operation increased
• Handle ad-hoc tasks when required in a start-up environment

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioprocessing/Chemical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial bioprocessing facility's operation
• Must have fermentation experience
• Possess good communication skills and a team player

• Standard working hours
• Salary up to $7000 (depends on experience)
