Job Description
- Sales pipelines and activities
- Ability to generate pipelines from company given leads or self-generated leads, making cold calls, face-to-face visits and generate referrals
- Using KYC to understand customers' business activities and using it qualify potential sales and product requirements/ consumption
- Follow through on enquiries and quotations and recommend visits with line managers to enhance KYC
- Reporting of sales pipeline building activities, potential pipelines, statuses on developing enquires and quotations for management to troubleshoot and propose solutions
- Pricing Negotiation
- Candidate must be able to identify margin stretching opportunities
- Candidate must be able to negotiate and maximize margin, whilst adhering to sales margin criteria
- Able to justify for pricing based on consumption and forecast
- Solution selling
- Candidate must be able to troubleshoot customers' problems and fit our offerings to the solutions proposed
- Provide one-stop-shop services from fuel to lubricant offerings
- Account Servicing
- Follow up on customer's requests, orders and correspondence of information to customers
- Coordinating with operations/ customer service on ground issues and customer's site / requirements updates
- Monitor consumption, revenue and margin of their overall portfolio and every individual accounts
- Managing and reviewing of credit limits based on consumption and forecasting
- Recommending customer visits to resolve credit issues / new project developments / introduction of any change of new personnel in-charge
- Weekly briefing of every accounts performance, sponsorships, highlight on any initiatives and discuss on account service activities on weekly basis with the line manager
- Credit Management and Collection of receivables
- Identify and justify key points (consumption and forecast) utilizing KYC for proposing credit limit and terms required for each account
- Reminding customer's committed payment date
- Recommend next course of actions based on collection situations
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years Experience in selling to the following industries are required:
- Construction industry - Building & Construction , Civil Engineering / Foundations works / Structural & General Works / M&E
- Manufacturing and Factories
- Possess interpersonal skills to establish relationship with customers to extract key information and convincing customer on our pricing and value added services
- Simple presentation skills will be needed to present a sales pitch to the potential customers
- Good negotiation skills
- Good credit management skills
