Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to tickets escalated from Service Desk, addressing Printer, Wi-Fi, Software, Hardware, and CCTV issues.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors (e.g., DELL, HP) for hardware replacement.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for shop floor-specific software.
- Coordinate and manage vendor site visits to resolve hardware issues.
- Provision hardware for customer end-users and assist with email activation and initial laptop configuration.
- Perform OS installation and software installation for desktops and laptops.
- Conduct shop floor visits during P1 issues and participate in on-call rotation on weekends.
- Provide support to VIP end-users as needed.
- Manage asset inventory and tracking.
- Possess basic network troubleshooting skills.
- Work under the guidance of L3 resources from Offshore.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in IT support or related roles.
- Familiarity with printer, Wi-Fi, software, hardware, and CCTV troubleshooting.
- Ability to coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware replacement.
- Basic understanding of shop floor-specific software troubleshooting.
- Good organizational skills to manage vendor site visits and hardware provision.
- Proficiency in OS installation and software installation for desktops and laptops.
- Availability for shop floor visits during shifts and on-call rotation on weekends.
- Ability to handle VIP end-users and provide exceptional customer service.
- Experience with asset management and inventory tracking.
- Basic network troubleshooting skills.
