Responsibilities
- Work with the team to automate standardized manual data transformation, consolidation and Excel based reporting
- Perform monthly Technology Investment Recharges for Support Units including collating, review and validation of supporting documents
- Responsible for monthly closing and reporting for the Support Units and includes the following:
- Preparing monthly financial reports
- Preparing monthly accruals, & monthly journal entries
- Preparing data consolidation from various Finance Systems
- Ensure integrity and completeness of data
- Support annual budgeting process for Support Units
- Any other related duties as assigned
Experience & Competencies
- Degree / Diploma holder in Business / Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Finance Analyst role within banking or financial industry is good to have
- Excellent experience in using MS Excel with Macro, Python (OpenPyXL) or VBA
- Good accounting knowledge in terms of financial principles.
- Experience with working with multiple large data sources.
- Experience with Peoplesoft General Ledger (PSGL) and Hyperion Essbase is good to have.
- Team player, highly organized, meticulous, multi-tasking and detailed oriented with a good aptitude for numbers
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
- Resilient personality with the tenacity to excel, able to work with tight timelines
