Job Scope:
The incumbent will provide management support for faculty controllership functions.

• Prepare Master Data (ie WBS / FM Address / Grant Master) creation form and set up the master data in S4 HANA.
• Prepare budget request form and post/transfer/return budget in S4 HANA.
• Raise journals in S4 HANA.
• Conduct reviews to ensure appropriate and timely follow-up action is taken by the Faculties. Areas of review include dormant accounts, balance sheet GL accounts and grant account, etc.
• Follow up with faculty finance leads where necessary to clear outstanding items for faculty-specific Balance Sheet GL accounts.
• Attend to queries raised by faculties.
• Participate in initiatives and assignments to help streamline/improve the existing processes in Faculty Controllership.

Requirements:

• A degree in Accountancy with at least 2 years of working experience in hands-on accounting environment
• Experience in S4 HANA / SAP
• A keen eye for detail and meticulous
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Team player
• Go the extra mile, take initiatives to ensure good support to faculties and all issues are properly followed up for closure

Additional Information:

• Salary - Up to S$4K per month
• Commencement Date: Immediate
• Contract duration: 12-month contract
• Working days and hours: Mon to Friday
• Location: Kent Ridge
