The Fleet Manager will be primarily responsible for all day-to-day Operations, Technical & Crewing functions as related to shipboard operations. The Fleet Manager shall be responsible to budget for vessels' annual budget and to ensure the budgets are complied with and that all the vessels are operationally seaworthy. The Fleet Manager shall be the client liaising point with the company and ensure that company service commitment is delivered. He is the main driver for the International Safety Management (ISM) for all vessels.
Job Responsibilities
Managing the Operation Team:
* To ensure that the vessels are operationally ready to meet the requirements of the clients
* To ensure that the vessels meet with service standard of marketing commitments to clients
* To ensure vessel meet with local requirements within the operating area
* To be the champion of shipboard and operational safety procedures
* Responsible for ISM compliance and certification

Working with Technical Team:
* To work with the Technical Manager to ensure the serviceability of the vessels
* To review and work on drydock budgets and cost
* To ensure that the vessels meet the preventive maintenance schedule and budget
* To ensure that the vessel Class, Safety and Annual certificates remain valid

Working with Crewing Team:
* To ensure all vessels manned to flag state requirement
* Maintain currency of competency for all seagoing staff
* To ensure experience and capable senior officers with required skill sets to suit type and vessel operations are deployed onboard vessels
* To deliver the service requirement of the Clients

Job Requirements
* Deck officer Foreign-going Master Class 1 (unlimited) certification
* 10 years sea going experience
* Able to manage the Operations, Technical and Crewing team
* Ability to handle customer at Management level
* Organization skills to work to achieve both budget and tasks within timelines
* Able to plan out annual needs of the Department and to execute the plan
