Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder and Communications Management

• Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
• Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes
• Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
• Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverable, dependencies, communicating across leadership and business stakeholders
• Process and Delivery Execution
• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
• Own the full project life cycle end to end
• Ensure the program is aligned to and supports strategic objectives
• Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Manage the day-to-day project activities, including project management working and steering committees
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards

Qualifications and Skills Required

The following skills and experiences are desirable

• Experience project managing Business/Digital Transformation programmes and projects (not just regulatory) is preferred.
• Valuable banking domain experience built as Business Analyst during early part of the career is highly desirable.
• Experience managing CRM transformation projects such as Microsoft Dynamics is desirable
• Experience managing onboarding projects such as Lending and Liabilities - CASA account opening
• Both Waterfall and Agile project management experience
• Management degree (MBA) is desirable
• Excellent Presentation Skills with experience presenting to Senior Stakeholders (Ds and MDs)
• Experience managing SteerCos with Senior Stakeholders (Directors and Managing Directors) and Working Committees (VP1, VP2, FVPs, SVPs and EDs)

The following experience is required

• Seasoned project manager with deep domain knowledge in banking industry, preferably Business Banking (or Retail Banking)
• PMs with experience leading digital transformation projects that have enabled transformation of onboarding capabilities eg. Leads, Lending and Liabilities CASA Account Opening are desirable
• Sound knowledge in Business Banking operational process, investment products and services.
• Degree in Engineering preferred though not mandatory
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is required
• Confident and self-aware leader with high degree of independence with analytical/problem solving ability
• Demonstrated 10-15 years of experience in project management
• Able to clearly articulate complex matters and provide recommendations on best course of action
• Full end to end project management in a lead role
• Direct responsibility of managing project budgets of $5 - $20 million dollars
• Executive level communication skills with excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
