Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate new user on-boarding with the setting up of PCs, and related IT equipment, and conducting IT familiarization training;
  • Provide first-level IT support through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues;
  • Assist users in setting up the video conferencing facility
  • Document internal policies and procedures;
  • Review and enhance policies with reference to head office and regulatory requirements;
  • Ensure all documentation is reviewed and updated on a regular basis
  • Manage the IT asset register and perform regular stock take to ensure completeness;
  • Plan and manage capacity for hardware and software to cater to business growth and requirements;
  • Manage the outsourcing arrangements for IT outsourced services according to the MAS Outsourcing Guidelines;
  • Perform vendor management of the IT vendors
  • Maintain IT security with a patch management program to address known vulnerabilities;
  • Maintain, track and update the IT risk register;
  • Support all BCP and IT DR tests locally and with head office;
  • Perform regular recertification and rights management;
  • Ensure compliance to MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines
  • Maintain the IT facilities in the computer room;
  • Supervise vendors in the performance of routine and regular servicing of IT facilities
  • Manage the security of the computer room by reviewing and approving requests and escorting visitors
  • Track the progress of IT projects for the Bank
  • Ensuring project meets deadlines
  • Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary

Requirement:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Helpdesk support role.
  • Strong analysis, evaluation and problem-solving skills
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
