Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze security vulnerabilities, assess severity, and evaluate impact on systems.
- Conduct proof of concept testing to validate vulnerabilities and understand their exploitation potential.
- Utilize expertise in OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities to identify, detect, and remediate weaknesses.
- Perform vulnerability scanning with tools like Tenable, Qualys to identify flaws in systems.
- Demonstrate excellent understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networks and associated vulnerabilities.
- Use Linux OS for vulnerability research and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities promptly.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and mitigation techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability research.
- Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and their impact on operations.
- Strong coding skills in Python or similar coding skills.
- Hands-on experience with proof of concept testing.
- In-depth knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable, Qualys.
- Good understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
- Experience with Linux OS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
