Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze security vulnerabilities, assess severity, and evaluate impact on systems.
• Conduct proof of concept testing to validate vulnerabilities and understand their exploitation potential.
• Utilize expertise in OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities to identify, detect, and remediate weaknesses.
• Perform vulnerability scanning with tools like Tenable, Qualys to identify flaws in systems.
• Demonstrate excellent understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networks and associated vulnerabilities.
• Use Linux OS for vulnerability research and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities promptly.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats and mitigation techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability research.
• Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and their impact on operations.
• Strong coding skills in Python or similar coding skills.
• Hands-on experience with proof of concept testing.
• In-depth knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable, Qualys.
• Good understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
• Experience with Linux OS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
