Job Description :

• Expert in supporting of PostgreSQL - Database installation, planning, design, implementation, backup, maintenance and optimization of PostgreSQL.
• Ability to review recommendations on architecture/design decisions that will ensure optimal application performance with PostgreSQL.
• Review recommendations on architecture/design decisions that will ensure optimal application performance with PostgreSQL.
• Writing Linux shell scripts for maintenance and automation purposes.
• Support 24x7 coverage may include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary.
• Writing and optimizing SQL statements.
• Preparing documentations and specifications.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Setting up replication.

Job Requirement :

• Minimum 4 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database management and familiar with MariaDB, MySQL or Oracle.
• Good knowledge in PostgreSQL core components and concepts.
• In depth knowledge in SQL and Query tuning.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating system (RedHat) and basic commands.
• Proficient writing Linux shell scripts for maintenance and automation purposes.
• Experience in preparing documentations and specifications.
