IT Engineer

End User Computing / Experience

  • Provide IT Support, maintenance, and delivery of all aspects of the End User Computing environment both physical and virtual. This includes platform stability, security, OS deployments and updates, patch management, software packaging and deployments
  • Sound knowledge and hands-on operational experience in Office 365 platforms such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Flow, Power BI and integration with 3rd party application
  • Capable of understanding client need and translating this into product or services
  • Design and develop automated process, system scripts, program to reduce redundant and manual day-to-day activities for end-user computing
  • Build, setup, maintain, implement, and troubleshoot for technology related matters affecting end-user productivity. (Remote / On-site)
  • Asset Management: Hardware Acceptance, Return, Inventory, Stock Management
  • End-user training and support



Infrastructure Operational Management / Support

  • Provide regional IT support delivery in APAC, ensuring global IT user support experience, IT strategy and services are delivered
  • Perform ticket analysis and identify gap / opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with HQ IT in supporting end user computing including conference technology, Zero trust network, Office 365, and applications/software within the corporate environment.
  • Support IT network and Integration projects, which includes integration of new acquisitions to the corporate IT infrastructure
  • Work with the regional field Service to resolve user incidents across region. (Excluding China / India)
  • Coordinate and track all incidents, information security and security awareness
  • Managed and oversee the Southeast Asia Field Service team
  • Support and work with the regional field service on Infrastructure related project in timely manner
  • Provide technical / operational support to ensure smooth IT operations for local and regional field services (Excluding India and China)
  • Participate in local/regional/centrally driven IT projects



Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in IT or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of related working experience in MNC company environment
  • Good technical knowledge and experience on Microsoft technologies (Active directory, SCCM, GPO, O365, Azure, Intune, etc) and networking technologies is necessary
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
  • Experience with ServiceNow is necessary
  • Foundation certificate in ITIL V3/V4
  • Relevant experience in IT Service Management
  • Agile delivery and framework e.g JIRA or SCRUM
  • Provide innovative ideas to the team and good team player
  • Experience in working with Global teams
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks/activities accordingly
  • Fast learner, ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and able to articulate to business users, Central teams within the company but also with various service partners.
