Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist IT Service Delivery Specialists and Analysts in resolving complex IT Infrastructure issues, may provide on the job training for junior staff.
- Support and maintain the IT Infrastructure in the following tasks:
- security standards to be aligned with the company security policy.
- systems and data access - to be handled in collaboration with Service Desk
- backup and recovery including Disaster Recovery Planning.
- asset management which includes Hardware lifecycle management and SW licensing
- audit compliance
- Support the appropriate level of service for a centrally provided and maintained IT Infrastructure for: server, clients, printers and other standardized peripherals, data communication (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN access and required components), voice communication (local and remote).
- Act as a local point for all IT issues (Infrastructure and Application) at your site and within the Area and ensure engagement with the appropriate IT Group (Infrastructure).
- Propose/Lead process improvement initiatives and collaborate with project teams to implement initiatives sought at growing efficiency.
- Assists users with business proposal generation, regarding our standards and policies.
- Establish the relationship between IT and the Business to become the trusted partner for delivering value and high levels of Service.
- Establish good working relationship with users and other sources of support and assistance.
- Ensure level of service agreed with the business is achieved and reported on, as well as agreed SLA's on ad-hoc projects and initiatives, collaborating with the other Enterprise IT Departments.
- Represent the IT Service Delivery team in specialized forums and be the Champion within the region for one of the IT Infrastructure domains (GAMS, Servers, Client, Network)
- Follow and implement company policies regarding IT management, security, standards and procedures.
- Ensure that relevant IT documentation is maintained and up to date.
- Provide information and assist IT Service Delivery Manager with IT budgeting and cost control.
Requriements :
- ITIL 4 Foundational Certification
- Minimum 6 years of significant experience within a complex IT Infrastructure environment
- Minimum 6 years of demonstrable experience in offering support on IT Infrastructure for: server, clients, printers and other standardized peripherals, data communication (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN access and required components), voice communication (local and remote).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in direct user/customer interactions, using discussions, fix and risk evaluation to resolve customer issues.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in working with IT documentation, standards and policies, as well as vendor related processes
- Knowledge on VMware ESXi / VCenter knowledge, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Cisco networking knowledge, CITRIX; MS Remote Access.
- Experience in IP networking administration and services including DNS, DHCP, Security & Compliance tools (e.g. Ivanti/LanDesk, WSUS, Symantec, FireEye), Active Directory and GPO & policy design and support.
- Degree or any equivalent in Information Technology or any related field.
- Experience in working with multiple partners, and collaborating with high level business leadership.
