Job Scope
- Work closely with corporate helpdesk and Service Vendor(s) to troubleshoot system problems and provide prompt system restoration, which directly affects the end client's IT User at a corporate location
- Provide Deskside support
- Track and facilitate Depot Maintenance
- Perform hardware diagnostics and engage Service Vendor or repair as applicable
- Understand personal computers, Local area networks, Wide area networks, Hardware, Software, and Audio/Visual Conference Room Technology
- Provide on-site assistance to some Data Centre Operations as directed
- Provide on-site assistance to Tape Operations as directed
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology or any related discipline with 3 years' experience in Level 2 desktop support role
- Experience in Hardware PC technology - Installs, Moves, Adds and Changes
- Knowledgeable in workflow processes such as Asset Centre, Software deployment
- Remedy Call tracking knowledge
- MCP or MCSE accreditation level is a plus
- With Microsoft Windows Office and Outlook Skills
- Experience in Supporting Microsoft office 2000/2003/2007
- Experience in Active Directory Administration 2003/2008
- Require great customer service skill, interpersonal skills, and technical aptitude
- Demonstrates an organized approach to problem solving
- Demonstrates good communication skills
