Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand TCP/IP and troubleshoot network connectivity issues effectively.
  • Perform hands-on tasks with LAN, WAN, and Datacenter devices.
  • Monitor and manage data center operations efficiently.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches (2960X, C9200, C9300, C9500) and routers (ASR/ISR series).
  • Manage configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco C9260x and C92xxL switches.
  • Work with Meraki switches, wireless devices, and access points proficiently.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and Access Points.
  • Expertise in device firmware upgrades for routers and switches.
  • Conduct switch replacement processes and manage device mounting/unmounting from racks.
  • Rack, cable, and configure network hardware, servers, and assist offshore teams with activities.
  • Proficient in Layer 2 protocols such as VSS and VPC technology.
  • Manage inventory and asset tracking efficiently.
  • Understand Checkpoint and FortiGate Firewall systems.
  • Familiarity with Zscaler - ZIP/ZPA/ZCC.
  • Evaluate technological needs and recommend appropriate solutions using industry standards.
  • Collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Assist in the creation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
  • Develop MOP/SOP and oversee change management processes.
  • Demonstrate critical decision-making skills to resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Conduct shop floor visits during P1 issues and participate in on-call rotation during weekends.



Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in network engineering or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Cisco networking devices and Meraki solutions.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and Datacenter operations.
  • Experience with firmware upgrades, switch replacements, and device mounting/unmounting.
  • Knowledge of Layer 2 protocols and firewall systems (Checkpoint, FortiGate).
  • Familiarity with Zscaler technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and across teams.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent issues as needed.
