Job responsibilities:

• Ensure Smooth, safe and reliable lab operations
• Perform wet chemistry analysis and provide analytical data to the Technical Sales Team.
• Maintain Global standards and adhere to company policies.
• To manage laboratory safety, maintain safe and clean environment.
• Manage the Quality system of Lab
• Upkeep laboratory records.
• Assist in writing and maintain analytical instructions and work instruction procedures for laboratory instruments.
• Manage retain samples for analyzed samples
• Ensure results are in conformity according to requirements.
• Prepare reagents and standards for analysis and calibration.
• Assist in monitoring the analytic results produced by the lab
• Managing the LIMS according to analysis plan
• Managing the laboratory equipment operation, calibration, preventative maintenance, instrument records and trouble shoot malfunctions as required.
• Perform backup duties in the lab when necessary.
• Housekeeping in the laboratory.

Job requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent
• With at least 1 - 2 years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
• Lab environment handling hazardous and toxic material
• Experience in Lab equipment such as HPLC, Automatic Titrators, pH meters, Autoclave, NIR analyzer, UV Spectrometer, Oven, etc. is a plus
• Troubleshooting of analytical instruments
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Excellent problem-solving skills
