Overview:
Assist the General Counsel Singapore to ensure that the interests of the company are protected against legal risk and to develop, communicate and police appropriate controls and systems.

Role Purpose:
· Provide counsel and legal support on a variety of legal matters, including matters that may be complex or may have some impact.
· To be considered to be a trusted adviser to the business by ensuring that commercially sensitive, pragmatic and practical legal support and advice is provided in a cost-effective manner.
· To provide support and guidance to Global Banking to maximise mandate / revenue opportunities and growth targets, while adhering to the Legal and Group operational standards and processes.

Qualifications
· Qualified lawyer with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant post qualification experience
· Experience in advising and/or preparing and negotiating loan documentation
· Experienced and confident practitioner with good transactional experience and execution expertise for loan transactions
· Up-to-date knowledge of developments in financial services industry
· Able to handle a diverse range of issues
· Self starter, independent with good organizational skills
