Responsibilities:
- Review, draft and negotiate contracts, including Non-disclosure/Confidentiality Agreements, Partnership Agreements, (Re)insurance policy wording, technology contracts, platform/tool terms of access, and other related agreements.
- Analyze and advise on legal and regulatory matters as they apply to the development and offering of insurance solutions, including licensing and regulatory aspects.
- Draft and review marketing and other informational product materials.
- Work closely with a diverse and international group of Product Owners, Sales teams and other cross-functional colleagues.
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationship with the Company's customers.
- Instruct and managing outside Counsel (as needed).
- Monitor legal, regulatory trends and serve as the primary Legal contact for the relevant business area.
- Review, develop and enhance internal governance processes relating to relevant business area and product.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law or equivalent
- A fully qualified Lawyer (Bar Exam/Practicing Certificate) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience within the (Re)insurance industry or any similar industry.
- Experience in Insurance Laws with a good track record in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Ability to perform your work duties independently, professionally and competently.
- Ability to work in a timely manner with a clear focus on protecting the interests and reputation of the firm.
