Job Description

• To manage the back office operations & support activities of LPG/Petroleum trading and paper trading.
• Coordinating operations across various agencies and timezones in a smooth and timely manner.
• Prepare Cost Sheet for attempting business (in coordination with shipping department).
• Vessel Chartering and dealing, costing.
• Vessel Acceptance from the port, buyer, seller.
• Vessel status updates to buyer & Seller.
• Follow up for payment for cargo value.
• Checking payment and issuance of the Delivery Order.
• Attending and resolving Customer queries such as DO, loading issue, quality issues etc.
• Ensuring workable LC ( for buyer & seller) or payments & acceptance status.
• Laytime calculations with the customer/Stevedores/Refineries.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business / Maritime Studies or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in commodity trading.
• Knowledge of the commodity trading industry trends across the globe will be advantageous.
• Good presentation & analytical skills and ability to interpret market intelligence data for effective decision making.
• Comfortable in liaising effectively with external agencies.
• Experience in paper trading will be advantageous.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
