Purpose of Role:
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Customer Care

  • Assist the Head of Insurance Operations to oversee the Customer Care department
  • Ensure smooth and effective operation of all Customer Care processes and undertake other duties as may be required
  • Maintain high quality service standard expected of the brand in order to foster long lasting client relationships
  • Management oversight of outsourced customer care functions
  • Ensure compliance with all guidelines and other operational standards and procedures as well as relevant regulations and laws
  • Customer communications / enquiries are processed and all primary records and systems data is captured and accurate
  • Formulate and develop strategies related to customer servicing to improve client satisfaction
  • Support any ad hoc assignments
  • People management


Knowledge & Experience:

  • University graduate preferably in business administration, information technology, or similar discipline
  • At least 10+ years of solid experience within Life Insurance Customer Care Operations
  • At least 5+ years in a managerial role in an insurer
  • Knowledge of AS400 is good to have.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in customer services or customer facing role
  • Energetic and results focused with a good work ethic
  • Self-motivated with the ability to think, and act, independently and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Team player and people motivator
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaborative and influencing skills
  • Excellent relationship management and networking skills to work with stakeholders across business functions and geographies
  • Good communication.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be able to prioritize effectively
