Overview
This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive PR strategy and plans that supports the overall product marketing plans.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Marketing, Sales teams, and appointed PR agency to develop overall PR strategy and plans for client's products
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with all media contacts, key opinion leaders and key industry stakeholders
• Plan and organise media engagement events including product previews, launches and showcases
• Manage the development and distribution of press materials including media releases/ keynote speeches / product factsheets etc.
• Actively pitch for new story angles / media interviews to maximise product exposure
• Manage client's Newsroom to ensure all product news and information (local / global) are updated timely
• Overall management of media test drives and test car fleet
• Monitor industry trends and news, and monthly media monitoring of client's clippings
• Key liaison for all product related media enquires

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PR (preferably in Automotive industry)
• Strong knowledge of traditional and digital PR techniques, including media relations, influencer marketing and content creation
• Strategic thinker with a passion for the automotive industry and proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and narratives
• Team oriented with an ability to develop collaborative relationships with team members and provide effective feedback
• Self-motivated and proactive personality
• Analytical mindset to understand information quickly and drive continuous improvements in daily processes to exceed targets
