We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President Project Manager & Business Analyst
Principal responsibilities

  • Management end to end as project lead in Insurance key projects initiatives and demonstrate the good governance to meet exacting timescales necessary to comply with Insurance Portfolio Delivery requirements (including control of resource, timeline, budget , scope and tollgate documentation and risk control)
  • Responsible for lead and present in local project steering committee chaired by CEO on the progress and manage multiple work stream in the projects and drive in daily scrum ceremony, weekly working group. Proactively update to senior team on the risk/issues/milestone and promptly escalation /recommendation path to Green1, ensuring the scope, cost, timeline are effectively manage and in good control project timeline.
  • Defining the approach and dealing with complex requirements and unique projects, often multiple initiatives/works within Insurance Portfolio. This is not limited to leading multiple initiatives from Idea Outline until benefit realization for product, sale, distribution, digitalization, process streamlining and regulatory/compliance projects.
  • Achieving benefits as per strategic goals which are set out in the business case.
  • Excellent stakeholders Management to 'C' Level (e.g. CEO/COO/CFO/CDO) and well equip with soft influencing skills to drive for effective solutions to meet the aggressive deadline.
  • Hand on working and actively engage business partner teams (including new business, underwriting, product, digital delivery, vendor, IT, distribution, Finance, Actuarial, policy services) to drive the multiple and stretch target project outcomes, ensuring Business achieve target AOP.
  • Good understanding of Business requirements for Singapore Insurance Business and drive governance through Business Transformation Management Framework, Business Case, User Story, and tools like Clarity, Status Report and Open Workbench
  • Working under both Waterfall and Agile Methodology to driving a culture of achievement


Qualifications

  • PMP or MSP Certified
  • FLMI Certified or equivalent
  • Excellent in using Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Key complex project experience in Insurance.


Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Project management skills , Business Analysts Skills and proven professional at least 10 year experience as project/programme lead in large/complex transformation Banking or Insurance Industry
  • Proven record in decision making, analytical and people management and experience in managing difficult stakeholders of different work streams
  • Proven record in excellent presentation skills with good governance in programme management experience with senior management at 'C' level.
  • Proven leader to delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes, a driver with bias towards delivery at pace and controlling project outcomes
  • In depth & well -rounded experience of working in a banking and Insurance environment and change projects.
  • Proven Critical thinking and Creative with Can-do attitude to improve the culture and working environment.
  • Excellent & Proven record of Stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing and running project governance Implementation, change management and benefits realization.
  • Hands-on attitude being able to cope with a wide range of different requirements and projects aspect including data migration, process streamline, finance, pricing, products, vendor and infrastructure
