Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle the full lifecycle of product development, starting from sourcing to final delivery
  • Conduct research to identify and choose advanced materials and components that improve both the functionality and visual appeal of footwear while adhering to cost constraints
  • Implement testing and validation procedures for prototypes to ensure they meet stringent criteria for performance, durability, and comfort
  • Oversee the development of comprehensive technical specifications and documentation for manufacturing processes
  • Proactive in monitoring industry trends, consumer preferences, and technological advancements to energize the team's direction
  • Uphold rigorous quality standards by conducting thorough testing and analysis across all aspects of production
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with top-tier manufacturers capable of fulfilling our requirements effectively and consistently
  • Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of footwear developers/merchandisers to achieve their full potential and drive success in our endeavors

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or any relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years in Footwear Design related field with 3 years of leadership exposure
  • Good leadership and influencing skills, excellent communicator
  • A team player, independent, people manager
  • Knowledge in CAD software, 3D modelling or other designing tools
  • Meticulous, passionate about footwear industry
