Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive understanding and updated knowledge of the international regulations and standards applicable to the company products.
  • Be recipe regulatory gate approver for the innovation process. Work closely with the R&D and innovation team to ensure regulatory compliance during and after the recipe formulation.
  • Working hand-in-hand with distributors to drive registration activity in target countries.
  • Assess raw materials, suppliers, products, labels, claims, advertising, etc., as needed, to make proactive risk-based decisions to enable speed, competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop regulatory affairs database, ensuring valid technical, claim substantiation, and regulatory documentation is available and constantly updated in the company database.
  • Ensure all market registrations and other documentation required for access of products into importing countries are obtained, prepared, and available as required by the business.
  • Provide regulatory expertise to cross-functional teams, making regulatory decisions as required.
  • Utilize technical regulatory skills to propose strategies on complex issues to achieve the necessary levels of compliance.
  • Implement regulatory-related policies and standard procedures.
  • Develop protocols to ensure internal knowledge transfer.



Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of relevant and demonstrable Regulatory Affairs experience in food industry.
  • Good knowledge of food legislations of Europe and Asia Pacific countries.
  • Able to provide regulatory guidance to internal and external customers quickly and concisely.
  • Able to solve regulatory challenges and problems in an ethical manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, well-organized and be able to work independently and be a team player.
