Role Purpose To lead and coordinate all finance-related data migration activities within the SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely migration of financial master and transactional data. The role focuses on facilitating the collection, transformation, validation, and final loading of finance data.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to define scope, mapping rules, transformation logic, and reconciliation expectations for finance data.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business data stewards to align on data requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical build team to ensure ETL development meets finance-specific needs.
- Plan and manage the execution of mock migration cycles (Mock 1, Mock 2, Full Dress Rehearsal), including tracking progress and resolving issues.
- Conduct briefings and working sessions with finance users to ensure understanding and readiness.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data cleansing and loading activities to ensure timely completion, quality, and completeness.
- Resolve reconciliation issues and support cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
Expected Outcomes
- Finance data objects are migrated accurately and completely.
- Mock cycles and cutover activities are executed on schedule.
- Finance stakeholders are engaged and supported throughout the migration lifecycle.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
- Around 5+ years of experience in finance data migration, preferably within SAP projects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, especially in greenfield environments.
- Excellent knowledge of financial master and transactional data structures, including GL, AP, AR, Assets, and Cost Center data.
- Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit).
- Proven ability to conduct data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation activities.
- Experience planning and executing mock cycles and cutover activities.
- Solid understanding of finance processes and controls.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to lead workshops.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
