Job Description:
The SAP HCM Consultant will be responsible for managing the operation and support (including enhancements) across various HR process areas such as Recruitment, Enlistment, Service Extension, Deployment, Development and Learning, Disciplinary Management, Benefits Management (including medical), Compliance Administration, Awards & Honour Management, General Administration, Welfare, Interface Development, Enterprise Architecture, Employee Administration, UX, and Functional Integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure timely deliverables by the E-HR Maintenance Vendor, ensuring that they meet the defined standards and controls. Identify and manage risks, develop mitigation strategies, and handle change control processes. Conduct project planning in collaboration with E-HR maintenance, interfacing, and infrastructure teams.
- Consolidate and prepare submissions for Performance Management Reports (PMR) and Post Implementation Reviews (PIR), updating the Project Manager and Operations Manager.
- Track and monitor Change Request (CR)s from initiation to implementation, working with various parties to resolve issues. Assess impacts and solutions proposed by the E-HR Maintenance Vendor, facilitate user testing, and ensure comprehensive testing.
- Provide analysis and consultation services to address operational issues and support audit-related activities.
- Act as a secretariat for meetings with stakeholders and internal teams. Oversee requirements gathering, evaluate solutions with the E-HR Maintenance Vendor, and manage documentation updates, including requirements specifications, functional designs, technical designs, test packages, HR reference models, and enterprise architecture artifacts.
- Facilitate HR systems training for users, manage service requests (SR), system investigation requests (SIR), and problem reports.. Ensure timely resolution of tasks, defects, and follow-ups for batch job failures. Support the E-HR reporting and data patching team.
- Propose and implement improvements to current work processes to enhance efficiency and address audit issues in delivering maintenance support services.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in SAP HCM ERP.
- Good planning, coordination, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Office productivity suites such as Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with ARIS tools and a good understanding of SAP HCM data design will be good to have,
- Resourceful, independent, and proactive, with excellent iproblem-solving skills.
