Job Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations & accounting of entities and perform month-end closings.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end closings for 7 regional entities.
• Responsible for payroll processing for Hong Kong & Japan as well as reviewing of payroll for Denmark and USA.
• Responsible for Hong Kong's employee yearly salaries tax.
• Handle month end closing and prepares general journals & schedules.
• Interco billing and monthly inter-co reconciliations.
• GST for Singapore (quarterly) and VAT for Japan & Denmark (yearly).
• Maintain proper filing (including bank advices) and archiving. Assist in share sale and dividends processes.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy / Finance or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting. Professional accounting accreditations will be advantageous.
• Prior experience within the Shipping / Maritime industries will be advantageous.
• Proficient in Navision Accounting System and full suite of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team setting. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working Location: CBD area.
