Job Scope:
IBP AND DEMAND PLANNING

  • Be the lead for APOC APAC Integrated Business Planning (IBP), build / manage a process that is sustainable and reliable
  • Create demand forecasts through cross-functional alignment; influence those outside of direct control, resolve conflicts to deliver consensus forecasts
  • Measure forecasting accuracy and provide corrective actions to minimize / eliminate forecasting bias
  • Create and maintain custom scenario planning reports and analyze trends in a timely manner to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of future forecasts
  • Execute the consolidation of APAC country forecasts; highlight key assumptions, forecast accuracy, significant variances and partner cross-functionally to address any opportunities/risks
  • Review historical sales trends, investigate demand drivers, prepare forecast data for both values and units, develop forecast models and evaluate forecast results
  • Perform gap analysis on forecast plan between Demand forecast and Financial forecast systems
  • Coordinate with Marketing team for new products forecast
  • Provide Commercial team with accurate data and business insights to facilitate improving forecast accuracy and compliance with standard IBP process
  • Drive weekly Demand Execution review with affiliates and division for appropriate actions
  • Drive monthly forecast roll review with affiliates and prepare updates to division
  • APAC contact point with Global IBP team and responsible for elevation process as established by Division



INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Support inventory management in Affiliate warehouses in ANZ, Japan, Korea and HK Hub (3PL)
  • Work with Affiliates/Key Countries to review supply plan issued by Global Supply team to identify supply gaps in supporting demand plan
  • Work with Order Management team on shipment schedule and prioritization, open POs reconciliation, etc.
  • Oversee processes in delivery of the month/ quarter: analyze the demand for the month/ quarter and work closely with Supply Chain team as well as Country GMs to ensure sales commitments can be met. Creates and manages area or country product/shipment allocations during times of short supply



SALES FORCE EFFECTIVENESS

  • Manage and monitor sales metrics to help ensure focus on the right accounts / activities
  • Generate and analyze reports for meaningful inputs and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure in-market execution by tracking progress of Key Performance Indicators to drive business goals and targets
  • Drive adoption and training of new analytical models, tools and reporting dashboards
  • Driving continuous improvement in the commercial (sales and operations) processes to improve business performance (metrics, KPIs, etc.)
  • Provide internal support to the business to create custom reports when needed; understand, track and provide support on regional business plan success metrics
  • Opportunity maximization and Vulnerability mitigation: Manage the ongoing Opportunity & Vulnerability process to help the region identify, manage and realize opportunities by ensuring continuous pipeline ideation and driving execution against prioritized opportunities while simultaneously ensuring the launch of robust mitigation measures against all prioritized risks
  • Other involvement in project management and/or business initiatives as required or directed by Commercial Director or Area GM
  • Communication: support management team in demand planning and forecasting accuracy improvements, develop and maintain communication links between finance, marketing, sales, and commercial excellence to ensure proper execution of the forecast



Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related fields
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in demand planning/forecasting or other supply chain related positions
  • Experience in Commercial Excellence / Sales Force Effectiveness highly desired
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience working in regional role
  • Good communication and teamwork skills with ability to communicate across all organizational levels; confident presenting to senior management
  • Culturally aware
  • Self-starter able to work and deliver to challenging deadlines
  • Enjoys working independently in an agile business environment



Additional Information:

  • Contract duration: 1-year contract convertible, with 1-month completion bonus
  • Commencement Date: Immediate
  • Working days and hours: Mon to Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Location: Bugis, DUO Tower
