Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for robotic applications from proof of concept to minimum viable product and pre-series.
  • Create detailed CAD models and simulations of robotic components and systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations of mechanical designs.
  • Prepare and execute Product Requirements Document, Development in V-cycle or agile, Testing and Verification & Validation strategy, documentation
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and software components.
  • Perform and lead testing and debugging of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize 3D printing technologies for prototyping and manufacturing robotic components.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for mechanical designs and processes and maintenance
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and mechanical engineering.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and developing mechanical systems, with a focus on robotics.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design and simulation.
  • Experience with robotic simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, V-REP).
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with 3D printing technologies and additive manufacturing.
  • Certification in robotics or related fields is a plus.
