Job responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and consultation relating to the network security scope, and sharing best practices.
• Understand the high-level design and ensuring that the network security design meets the project requirements.
• SME to identify the key tasks and activities required from network security perspective to fulfil the project requirements and providing inputs to project schedules.
• Ensuring all project documentation is completed.
• Review firewall rules, validate security profiles and propose the best approach to drive the project outcomes.
• Review and validate all the risks associated with the proposed changes to the network and security environment.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, principles, baselines and guidelines.
• Produce and executing test plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in network security, design, implementation and support.
• Experience in network security architecture.
• Has experience in operational environment either in the support of networking services or network security services.
• Experience in cyber security, risk management, and compliance frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
• Excellent technical skills in firewall products & technologies especially in Fortinet and Checkpoint.
• Excellent networking skills in switching and routing.
• Excellent knowledge on overall infrastructure including Wireless/VoIP technology, on premise datacentres and systems, Cloud hosted environments.
