Job Responsibilities
- Lead, train and manage the project department
- Monitoring progress, providing financial control, and ensuring project quality
- Devising cost-effective plans and methods to enable effective completion of the project
- Ensuring necessary permits and legal papers are secured prior to project commencement
- Ensuring project managers supervise and manage their teams
- Making strategic decisions and providing the necessary leadership and direction for teams of project managers to implement those decisions
- Building good working relationships with clients
- Meeting with clients, third parties and project managers to report progress
Job Requirements
- Min degree in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or construction project management
- Min. 10 years relevant working experience in the building construction industry preferably in M&E works.
- Excellent project management with knowledge of project process, tools and documentation
- Customer-oriented and good leadership skill
- Experience in HDB M&E projects
- Good understanding of construction contracts
